Grass Roots Academic Support is seeking to appoint a highly effective, innovative and enthusiastic teacher who is a good team player, with the ability to engage and motivate students in Science. NQT/ECT’s as well as more experienced teachers are warmly welcomed to apply to join this very successful team.
The school are offering a full time role (Part time will be considered) starting 1st November 2026 or Jan 2027.
You'll be responsible for bringing your passion and expertise to the following areas:
- Use assessment data to evaluate learner’s progress and set appropriate targets for improvement.
- Understanding and applying effective classroom management.
- Understanding and applying a range of teaching strategies.
- Have a working knowledge of teachers' professional duties and legal liabilities.
- Inspire trust and confidence in students and colleagues.
- Build team commitment with colleagues and in the classroom engage and motivate students.
To apply for this role you must have the following:
* Qualified Teacher Status
* A proven teaching record and/or high quality references
* A recent and clear DBS Disclosure (a new one can be applied for)
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
