- Grass Roots Academic Support is seeking to appoint a highly effective Subject Leader of Music. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher of Music to step into a leadership role, for which there is a payment of TLR 2b.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated to achieving the best possible outcomes for students and will be a committed team player who is determined to make a significant contribution to raising attainment across the Music department. There is a whole school production, which takes place once every two years, and you will work collaboratively with the Dance and Drama departments to produce this; in addition the successful candidate will hold regular music concerts and take part in a number of local events and festivals.
The school are offering a full time permanent position starting in September.

* Qualified Teacher Status or related teaching degree
* A proven teaching record and/or high quality references
* A recent and clear DBS Disclosure (a new one can be applied for)
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
