- Grass Roots Academic Support is seeking to appoint a committed and suitably skilled KS2 Teacher to work with students who have been, or who are at risk of permanent exclusion, or have medical needs that prevent them from attending mainstream school. Pupils often have a range of barriers to learning including Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
The school currently offer a range of subjects at KS2 to support learning across the curriculum as well as more therapeutic elements to best support pupils as they prepare to reintegrate to mainstream settings.
We are looking for someone who can model and encourage traits such as leadership, communication, determination, ambition, reflection, empathy and conviction.
The school are offering a full time permanent position.

* Qualified Teacher Status or related teaching degree
* A proven teaching record and/or high quality references
* A recent and clear DBS Disclosure (a new one can be applied for)
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
