- Description
- We are currently looking for a passionate and highly driven Mathematics teacher to join a welcoming team on a full time permanent basis.
You will be a successful teacher with qualified teacher status (QTS) or (QTLS) who has a fresh and positive approach to teaching KS3 and KS4 students with positive outcomes.
You will need to be engaging and a forward thinking individual with the ability to monitor the progress and achievement of your students.
Duties will include but are not restricted to:
* Preparing and delivering lessons in your specialist subject
* Preparing students for examinations
* Keeping up to date on the curriculum and writing new curriculum materials
* Pastoral duties, including supporting pupils on an individual basis through academic or personal difficulties
* Willing to participate in parent’s evenings/meetings and staff meetings
Do you have the following:
* Qualified Teacher Status or related teaching degree/qualification
* Recent high quality references
* Experience of working in a Secondary setting
* A recent and clear DBS Disclosure (a new one can be applied for)
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
